Lady Bruins Travel to Pfeiffer for Saturday Showdown

Winston-Salem, NC — September 19, 2025 — Carolina University Women's Soccer will hit the road on Saturday, September 20, traveling to Pfeiffer University for a 1:00 p.m. kickoff. The Lady Bruins are determined to build momentum as they continue the early portion of their 2025 season.

Carolina enters the contest with an 0-6-2 record, but the growth of the squad has been evident. The Lady Bruins have battled through a tough non-conference slate, showing improvement in possession and organization with each outing. Head Coach Boo Tesh emphasized the importance of staying focused on development and converting hard work into results.

"Our players have continued to compete and raise their level," said Coach Tesh. "We're seeing progress in training and in games, and now it's about finding that breakthrough performance."

Saturday's match provides that opportunity. The Lady Bruins will rely on a strong defensive core while seeking to generate chances in the attacking third. With several younger players stepping into expanded roles, the experience gained through these early-season battles is expected to pay dividends as the year continues.

While Pfeiffer (0-4) is also searching for its first win, the Lady Bruins' attention remains squarely on themselves—continuing to play with discipline, build chemistry, and trust the process.

Kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. in Misenheimer, North Carolina. Following the matchup, Carolina University will return to Winston-Salem on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 as they host Montreat College for a 6 p.m. kickoff at Truist Sports park.
