Elizabeth City, NC – The Carolina University Bruins traveled to face the Mustangs of Mid-Atlantic Christian University in a hard-fought game on Friday night, ultimately falling 68-70.

The Bruins got off to a slow start and found themselves trailing 27-43 at halftime. However, they came out strong in the second half, determined to close the gap. Carolina University outscored the Mustangs 41-27 in the final 20 minutes, but fell just short of a comeback, with the final score sitting at 68-70.

Despite the tough loss, there were standout performances from Chris High and Aundree Polk. High led the team offensively, putting up 22 points, while Polk contributed a double-double with 17 points and 15 rebounds, leading the Bruins on the defensive end.

The Men's Basketball team will be back in action on Saturday, February 8th, at 7:30 PM, as they travel to take on Milligan College.
