Carolina University Women’s Volleyball Set for NCCAA South Region Championship Rematch at Clinton

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Carolina University Women's Volleyball, led by Head Coach Chelsea Jones, is headed back to postseason play with a familiar challenge on the horizon. On Wednesday evening, the Bruins will travel to Clinton, S.C., for a 6 p.m. showdown against Clinton College in the NCCAA South Region Championship match.

This year's appearance marks Carolina University's eighth consecutive trip to the South Region title match, a streak dating back to 2018 and a testament to the program's sustained excellence. It will also be the second straight year that the Bruins and Golden Bears face each other with a berth to the NCCAA National Tournament—hosted once again by College of the Ozarks—on the line.

Carolina University enters the championship at 21–15, looking to rebound after dropping its last two contests. Clinton College, meanwhile, comes in with an 18–8 record and riding the momentum of two straight wins.

The two programs met in this exact setting one year ago, where Carolina University delivered a dominant performance, sweeping Clinton College 3–0 to advance to the national stage. With both teams returning to the title spotlight, Wednesday's rematch promises to bring intensity, emotion, and championship-level volleyball.

Head Coach Chelsea Jones and the Bruins look to rely on their postseason experience, depth, and defensive consistency as they pursue another South Region crown and their return to the NCCAA National Tournament.

First serve is set for 6 p.m. in Rock Hill, S.C.
