Carolina University Volleyball Set for Final Regular Season Match at Guilford

 Greensboro, N.C. — November 7, 2025

The final match of the regular season has arrived for the Carolina University Women's Volleyball team, led by Head Coach Chelsea Jones, as the Bruins travel to take on Guilford College on Friday, November 7, at 6:00 p.m. inside Ragan-Brown Field House in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Carolina enters the matchup with a 21-12 overall record and recently clinched the No. 3 seed in the upcoming Continental Athletic Conference (CAC) Tournament, which begins next Friday, November 14. The Bruins are coming off a convincing 3-0 victory over Paine College on Tuesday night and will look to carry that momentum into their regular-season finale.

Under Coach Jones, the Bruins have demonstrated balance and depth throughout the season. Carolina has totaled 1,424 kills and 1,898 digs, while maintaining a strong .179 team hitting percentage. Offensively, the Bruins have been paced by SarahElizabeth Samuels (262 kills) and Karli Totel (244 kills), while Britney Comolli and Kammi Naudé have each provided consistent production at the net. Setter Syvannah Poore continues to be the team's catalyst, recording an impressive 671 assists on the season to go along with 45 service aces, anchoring a Carolina offense that averages nearly 12 kills per set.

Defensively, Kai Horta leads the back row with 515 digs, and the Bruins' serve-receive unit has continued to improve, giving Carolina stability in long rallies and late-match situations.

Meanwhile, Guilford College enters the contest at 17-8 overall, having won five consecutive matches to close out their regular season. The Quakers are led by Natalie Moore with 294 kills and Madison Duvall with 202 kills, as they boast a balanced attack hitting .212 on the season.

Carolina and Guilford last met on September 27, with Guilford claiming a 3-0 win in Winston-Salem. However, the Bruins have grown significantly since that match and will look to finish their regular season strong before turning their full attention to the CAC Tournament next week.
