Carolina University Concludes Regular Season at Guilford

Greensboro, N.C. — November 7, 2025

Carolina University Women's Volleyball wrapped up its regular season Friday evening with a road match against Guilford College inside Ragan-Brown Field House. In a rematch from September 27, when the Quakers swept the Bruins in Winston-Salem, Carolina looked to turn the tables in its final tune-up before next week's CAC Tournament. Despite a competitive opening frame, the Bruins ultimately fell 3–0 (27–25, 25–20, 25–12) to the Quakers.

Karli Totel led Carolina offensively with nine kills and three blocks, while Britney Comolli added seven kills. Setter Syvannah Poore distributed 18 assists and collected five digs, and Kammi Naude contributed four kills and three block assists. Defensively, the Bruins were anchored by Kai Horta, who finished with a team-high 15 digs, as the group battled through extended rallies in the first two sets.

Head Coach Chelsea Jones praised her team's competitiveness heading into postseason play:

"We've grown tremendously since the first time we faced Guilford," Jones said. "Even though the result didn't go our way tonight, I'm proud of our effort and focus. We're learning from every match, and I believe our group is ready to make a strong push in the conference tournament."

Carolina University finishes the regular season 21–13 overall and will now turn its attention to the CAC Tournament, which begins next week.
