Men’s Basketball Dominates Virginia University of Lynchburg

Box Score

Winston-Salem, NC – The Carolina University Men's Basketball team had an impressive performance tonight, breezing past the Dragons of Virginia University at Lynchburg with a dominant 101-47 victory.

From the start, Carolina University set the tone, playing smothering defense and shutting down the Dragons' offensive attempts. Virginia University struggled to find a rhythm, as the Bruins' defense stifled their scoring opportunities and forced several turnovers. Offensively, the Blue and Gold capitalized on their fast breaks and executed their plays with precision.

Cameron Buchanan led the Bruins offensively, tallying 28 points and playing a crucial role in the team's offensive attack. His scoring ability, combined with his court vision, helped propel the team throughout the game. Kanoa Ashley also made a significant impact, adding 13 points and providing steady contributions on both ends of the floor. Together, Buchanan and Ashley led the Bruins in what was a strong team performance.

With tonight's convincing victory over Virginia University of Lynchburg, the Bruins improve to 8-11 record and will hit the road to face Mid-Atlantic Christian University on Monday, February 3rd at 6:00 PM.
