Women's Basketball Tabs Back-to-Back Wins

Winston-Salem, NC – The Carolina University Women's Basketball team earned a dominant victory over Point University on their home court tonight. The Bruins delivered an outstanding performance, ultimately securing the win with a commanding final score of 75-43.

From the jump, the Skyhawks didn't stand a chance against the Bruins, who maintained a consistent lead throughout the game. The Blue and Gold were relentless in their effort. Keyani Jackson recorded a double-double before the end of the third period, finishing the game with 17 points and 13 rebounds. A key player for the Bruins in recent games, Jackson continues to be a vital piece, contributing to both the offense and defense. Le'Asia Matthews also contributed greatly to tonight's win with 21 points. 

With back-to-back wins, the Bruins will look to carry this momentum into 2025 as they close out 2024 with a strong performance.

The Bruins will return to action on January 3rd when they face the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in an away game. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 PM.
