Hiwassee College opened up an early lead in the second inning when one of their players drew a walk, scoring one run. The Tigers scored three runs in the third inning. A single and a groundout drove Hiwassee College's big inning.
Torres got the start for the Lady Bruins. She surrendered six runs on four hits over three innings, striking out two.
Piedmont racked up 16 hits. Cook,
