Box Score WINSTON-SALEM, NC - The PIU men's basketball team played a tight affair that saw four ties and eight lead changes at Winston-Salem State University on Tuesday (Nov. 19) before the Rams closed out the game with a 77-64 victory.
The Bruins were the first on the board from a layup by
Curtis Coleman Jr. Piedmont would hold the lead for the first 5 minutes of regulation. WSSU gained control, only allowing the Bruins to tie up the game. The teams entered intermission at 35-35.

Coming back in the second, the Rams would quickly gain power. WSSU took the lead for good on a three-pointer by Jaylin Parker with 12:53 to play and led by 13 points in the final 30 seconds of the contest.
Tamir Glenn led the Bruins in scoring for the second straight game with 22 points, efficient 7-for-11 shooting, and collected six rebounds and three assists. Coleman chipped in 12 points, six rebounds, and an assist.

Piedmont will not retake the floor until Friday, Nov. 22, when the Bruins will travel to Newberry College. Tipoff is set for 7:00 p.m.
