Carolina University's Britney Comolli Named 2025-26 CAC A.O. Duer Scholarship Recipient

Winston-Salem, NC-Carolina University senior volleyball student-athlete Britney Comolli has been selected as the 2025-26 Continental Athletic Conference (CAC) A.O. Duer Scholarship recipient, recognizing her outstanding achievements in academics, athletics, and leadership.

The A.O. Duer Scholarship is one of the Continental Athletic Conference's highest individual honors, presented annually to student-athletes who demonstrate exceptional academic excellence, character, leadership, and athletic participation. Named in honor of former NAIA Executive Secretary Dr. Alvin "A.O." Duer, the scholarship celebrates student-athletes who exemplify the ideals of higher education and collegiate athletics.

Comolli has distinguished herself throughout her career at Carolina University as a leader on and off the volleyball court. Her commitment to academic success, servant leadership, and competitive excellence has made her a model representative of the Bruins and the university community.

"Britney exemplifies what it means to be a true student-athlete," said Carolina University Director of Athletics Chelsea Jones. "Her dedication to excellence in the classroom, on the court, and in the way she serves others reflects the mission and values of Carolina University. We are incredibly proud to see her recognized with one of the Continental Athletic Conference's most prestigious academic honors."

Comolli's selection continues Carolina University's tradition of producing student-athletes who excel both academically and athletically while representing the university with integrity and distinction.
