Women's Basketball Picks Up Win Against Johnson & Wales

Winston-Salem, NC – The Carolina University Women's Basketball team faced off against Johnson & Wales University this afternoon. The Bruins came out strong, quickly building a commanding lead, which carried them to a decisive victory of 75-54.

After dominating the first two quarters, the Bruins led 38-25 at the half. Felesia Ondongo was a standout player, already tallying 10 points by halftime and proving to be a major contributor on both ends of the court. Her performance was a key factor in the team's success this season.

Ondongo finished with 24 points and 7 rebounds, and despite the Wildcats' best efforts, they were unable to slow her down or stop the Bruins' offensive attack. Le'Asia Matthews followed with 12 points of her own to aid the Bruins.

Women's Basketball will be back in action on Wednesday, February 12th, as they travel to Piedmont College for an away game at 5:30 PM
