Winston-Salem, NC – Carolina University Women's Basketball hosted Pfeiffer University tonight in an exciting matchup.

The Bruins took an early lead, dominating the Falcons and forcing a timeout from Pfeiffer with the score at 15-3. However, the timeout did little to slow down the Bruins' momentum, as they continued to build on their advantage. A three-pointer by Keyani Jackson upon re-entry extended the lead even further. The first half concluded with Carolina University leading 29-13.

The Blue and Gold maintained their strong performance, adding to their lead as the Falcons struggled to keep pace. Heading into the fourth quarter, the Bruins were in control, scoring 69-42. With three minutes left on the clock, Bianca Gonzalez drained a three-pointer. The Bruins then followed up with another three from Nadia Kidwell, further sealing their lead and extending the score to 75-43.

While the Bruins' offense was on point throughout the game, their defense truly stood out. They consistently shut down the Falcons and kept them at bay for a final score of 78-52

Women's Basketball will be back in action this Saturday, November 23rd as they take on Randolph College away.
