Swannanoa, N.C. – September 23, 2025 — Carolina University Women's Volleyball earned a decisive sweep over Warren Wilson College on Tuesday evening, taking the match in straight sets (25-22, 25-15, 25-14) at the DeVries Athletic Center.
The Bruins (11-5) controlled play throughout the evening against the Owls (1-11). Carolina was balanced at the net, with five different players recording at least four kills. Junior setter Syvannah Poore guided the offense with 13 assists, while Britney Comolli and Karli Totel led the attack with five kills apiece. Defensively, the Bruins tallied 30 digs and four team blocks to keep Warren Wilson in check.
Head Coach Chelsea Jones praised the team's consistency:
"We played with great energy tonight and executed well in key moments. Our depth really showed, and it was encouraging to see contributions from so many players. This was a solid team win as we prepare for a big weekend at home."
Looking Ahead
Carolina University now turns its attention to a home tri-match this Saturday, September 27, inside Williams Gymnasium. The Bruins will face Guilford College at 11:00 a.m. before returning to the court for a 3:00 p.m. contest against Emory & Henry College.
