Carolina University Men’s Soccer Travels to WVU Tech for Tuesday Afternoon Clash

September 22, 2025 – Winston-Salem, N.C. – Carolina University Men's Soccer will look to bounce back from its first setback of the season when the Bruins travel to West Virginia University Tech for a Tuesday afternoon non-conference matchup. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on September 23 in Beckley, WV.

The Bruins return to action for the first time since a narrow 1-0 defeat to Shaw University on September 15. That result snapped the early momentum for Carolina University, which had opened the campaign with a strong performance but fell just short of finding the back of the net in their last outing.

Head Coach Craig Golding and the Bruins will look to reset quickly against WVU Tech, a program known for its disciplined play and home-field advantage. Tuesday's contest marks the only road match in the week as Carolina aims to get back in the win column and continue building toward the heart of the schedule.

Carolina University's defense has been a steady anchor through the opening stretch, conceding only three goals in four matches, while the attacking unit seeks to convert more opportunities into goals. The trip to Beckley offers the Bruins another opportunity to test themselves against a quality opponent and demonstrate resilience following their first loss.
