Carolina University Announces Baseball Coaching Staff Changes

Winston-Salem, NC — May 19, 2025 —  Carolina University Baseball is pleased to announce key changes to its coaching staff effective immediately. Head Coach Jarett Miller will be transitioning into a new role as the Director of Baseball Operations, continuing his longstanding commitment and leadership within the program.

Coach Miller has been a transformational part of the Bruins' baseball success. In his new position, he will oversee the program's day-to-day operations, logistics, and long-term development initiatives. His experience and passion for the game will remain an invaluable asset to the team and athletic department.

In addition, Assistant Coach Logan Conklin has been promoted to Associate Head Coach. Coach Conklin has played a vital role in player development and game strategy, and his promotion reflects his outstanding contributions to the team. In his elevated role, Conklin will assume greater responsibilities in leading the program on and off the field as the lead coach.

"We are very excited for this opportunity for Coach Conklin to step into this role and lead the program both on and off the field" says Athletic Director Chelsea Jones. "Coach Miller has set the standard for Bruin Athletics culture, and we are grateful for his foundational leadership. I look forward to seeing what both can accomplish in their new roles."

These changes position Carolina University Baseball for continued growth and success, both in competition and in the development of its student-athletes.
