Carolina U Splits Doubleheader Against Ohio Christian

Carolina University hosted a doubleheader against Ohio Christian University on March 15, 2025, at Rich Park. The teams split the day with each securing a victory.

Game 1: 
Carolina University took control early, cruising to a 15-2 win over Ohio Christian. Despite a rocky start, with Ohio Christian scoring runs in the first two innings due to errors by Carolina, the home team rebounded in the second inning. Ty Vespe's solo home run and clutch hits by Elias Nurideen and Danny Gonzalez propelled Carolina into the lead.

The offense exploded further in the third inning with Carolina scoring four more runs, highlighted by a 2-RBI single from Vespe. The game was sealed in the fifth and sixth innings when Carolina added nine more runs. Vespe and teammates like Alex Noll and Danny Gonzalez contributed heavily, with Noll hitting a triple and the team benefiting from multiple extra-base hits.

Alex Prevost secured the win for Carolina, allowing just two hits and one earned run over five innings, while striking out five. Jovanny Mendez pitched two scoreless innings in relief to finish the game.
