Carolina University's men's basketball team secured a thrilling 114-100 victory over Regent University on
Senior Night, February 22, 2025, at Williams Gymnasium. The game featured an impressive offensive
display from both teams, with Carolina ultimately pulling away in the second half to honor their seniors
with a hard-fought win.
Carolina dominated the first half, leading 58-39 at the break, with
Aundree Polk shining on this special
night. Polk delivered a standout performance, recording a 34-point, 11-rebound, and 11-assist triple-
double.
Chris High also played a crucial role, finishing with 24 points, including five three-pointers.
Andrew Pittman contributed solidly for Carolina as well, adding 15 points and grabbing 3 rebounds.
Despite Regent's best efforts, including a 37-point outburst from Darrin Clark, Carolina's depth and
ability to finish strong helped them maintain control. Brandon Williams came off the bench with a key
19 points, rounding out Carolina's balanced attack.
Regent mounted a late-game surge, scoring 61 points in the second half, but Carolina's sharp execution
at the free-throw line (82.8%) and offensive efficiency sealed the victory, improving Carolina to 10-14 on
the season. Regent dropped to 6-17.
