Bruins Turn Attention Toward CAC Tournament

Although the Bruins were unable to secure a victory on the final day of the CAC Classic, the weekend provided valuable opportunities to evaluate their performance against conference opponents and identify areas for improvement heading into the final stretch of the regular season.

Carolina University Head Coach Chelsea Jones emphasized the importance of using these experiences to prepare for postseason competition.

Head Coach Chelsea Jones stated:

"We saw some really positive things from our team this weekend, especially with the way we came out offensively against Florida National. However, we also saw areas where we have to become more consistent. Playing multiple conference opponents in a short period of time gives us a good understanding of what it will take to compete at a high level in November. We have to continue improving our communication, execution, and ability to respond to adversity. Our goal is to take what we learned from this weekend, get back to work, and make sure we are playing our best volleyball when the conference tournament arrives."

With Saturday's results, Carolina University moves to 12-16 overall on the season.

The CAC Classic served as a precursor to the upcoming Continental Athletic Conference Tournament, scheduled for November 12-14, which will feature two tournament sites hosted by Florida College and Simpson University. The winner from each site will earn a berth in the NAIA Women's Volleyball National Tournament.

With postseason opportunities on the horizon, the Bruins will look to build on their experiences from the weekend and continue making strides as they prepare for the conference tournament.
