WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — After a week-long break from competition, the Carolina University Women's Volleyball team returns to action on Tuesday, October 7, hosting Warren Wilson College at 6 p.m. inside the Williams Gymnasium.
The Bruins last took the court on September 30 in a tough 3–1 setback against Bob Jones University, where they battled hard but ultimately came up short. The upcoming match offers an opportunity for Carolina to bounce back and regain momentum as the regular season progresses.
This will mark the second meeting of the season between the Bruins and the Owls. When the two teams met on September 23 in Asheville, Carolina came away with a dominant 3–0 sweep, showcasing strong serving and balanced offense throughout the match.
The Bruins enter the matchup with a 12–7 overall record (.632), including an impressive 6–1 mark at home. The team averages 11.46 kills per set, and records 2.24 service aces per set—a key strength in their previous win over the Owls.
