After a strong showing at the Continental Athletic Conference Classic, the Carolina University Women's Volleyball Team returns home for a special evening on the court. The Lady Bruins will host Ferrum College on Tuesday, October 14, with first serve set for 6:00 p.m. inside the Williams Gymnasium.
Under the leadership of Head Coach Chelsea Jones, Carolina enters the match with an impressive 16–9 overall record after going 3–2 this past weekend in CAC Classic play. The Lady Bruins showcased consistency and resilience throughout the event, earning key wins that further strengthened their standing in regional competition.
Tuesday's matchup carries extra meaning as it marks the team's annual Dig Pink Game, an initiative designed to raise awareness and support for breast cancer research. The Lady Bruins will don special pink gear and invite fans to participate in honoring survivors and supporting those currently battling breast cancer.
Ferrum College enters the contest with a 3–13 record, looking to regain form as they travel to Winston-Salem. Despite their record, the Panthers have shown competitiveness and energy, setting the stage for what promises to be an exciting evening of volleyball action.
Coach Jones and the Lady Bruins will look to continue their strong play at home, emphasizing offensive balance, defensive energy, and the team-first mentality that has defined their success throughout the season.
