Men's Volleyball Hosts Home Opener Against the Royals

Winston-Salem, NC – Carolina University Men's Volleyball hosted their home opener tonight against the Royals of Regent University. The Bruins fought hard in an epic three-set match, but ultimately lost with scores of 12-25, 21-25, and 18-25.

Tonight also marked Jake Boldog's first collegiate match as a head coach. The Bruins found their rhythm in the second set, pushing hard against the Royals. Junior Friedrich Hall led offensively, executing a series of smart plays to avoid the Royals' block, finishing with 7 kills. Although the Bruins didn't secure the win tonight, they're hopeful to bounce back this weekend.

Men's Volleyball will be back in action on Saturday, February 1st, as they take on Roanoke College and Warren Wilson in a tri-tournament hosted by the Owls.
