Winston-Salem, NC — The Carolina University Women's Basketball team took on the Morris College Hornets tonight, securing a dominant victory on their home court with a commanding 68-36 scoreline.
The Bruins came out strong, taking an early lead and completing the first quarter with a 20-6 advantage over the Hornets. Carolina University continued to extend its lead in the second quarter, with standout defensive plays by Maria Beltran fueling the team's success. Offensively, the Bruins maintained control of the ball for most of the game, with Felesia Ondongo making her presence felt. She anchored the Bruins' offense, tallying 16 points.
Women's Basketball will be back in action this Saturday, as they travel to take on Regent University at 3:30 PM.
