Men’s Soccer Notches Another Shutout Win

Bermuda Run, NC – Carolina University Men's Soccer hosted the Wasps of Emory & Henry College for a home match last night at Truist Sports Park. The Bruins secured back-to-back shutouts with a 2-0 victory over the Wasps.

With 10 minutes left in the first half, junior Zaid Santo scored the Bruins' first goal, assisted by Nathan Rue.

In the second half, the Bruins maintained their momentum. The Blue and Gold's defense was relentless, allowing the Wasps only two shots on goal. Goalkeeper Joshua Wilson recorded a shutout with just one save.

Senior Nathan Rue scored the second goal of the night. After the Wasps received a yellow card, Rue capitalized on the opportunity and placed the ball in the net, securing the final goal of the evening and adding another win to the Bruins' perfect 3-0 record.

The Bruins will return to action at home on Tuesday, September 3rd, as they face Southern Wesleyan University at 7:00 PM.
