Men's Soccer Extends Win Streak to 5

Greensboro, NC – Carolina University Men's Soccer emerged victorious against the Guilford College Quakers, securing a 3-2 win on the road.

The Bruins drew first blood early in the match with a goal from Lewis Jacklin within the first 10 minutes. The Quakers quickly equalized, but Carolina University responded with determination. Zaid Santo put the Bruins ahead again by converting a penalty kick awarded after a Quaker mistake. Freshman Alexis Palaez-Marure then extended the lead, receiving an assist from Jacklin for the final Bruins' goal. Despite conceding one more goal, the Blue and Gold managed to hold on and seal the 3-2 win.

Goalkeeper Joshua Wilson played a crucial role in the victory, making two key saves to keep the Quakers at bay.

The Bruins will continue their season with another away match on September 18th, facing The University of Pikeville at 5:00 PM.
