Bermuda Run, NC- Carolina University Men's Soccer hosted the Knights of St. Andrews for a home soccer match last night at Truist Sports Park. The Bruins didn't leave anything to chance with a dominating 3-0 victory against the Knights.
After a calm first half with only 3 shots on goal, the Bruins shifted gears after halftime. Within 5 minutes of the restart, Zaid Santo claimed the first goal of the game. Less than 5 minutes later, another goal was scored by Luke Spillane-Davis. Both goals were assisted by Karell Buitendijk. As the Bruins gained momentum, the Knights struggled to put out their hot streak; allowing Lewis Jacklin to claim the 3rd and final goal of the night.Â
Goalkeeper Joshua Wilson recorded a shutout with 1 save.Â
The Bruins will be back in action this Saturday, August 31st again at home, as they take on Emory and Henry at 7:00 PM.
