Baseball Splits on the Road

Danville, VA- The Bruins hit the road to Danville, VA Tuesday for a Double Header at Averett University.

In Tuesday night's match-up, the Bruins started strong in game one, scoring 4 runs and allowing only 1 run in the bottom of the 6th inning. However, the Cougars got the upper hand in game 2, out-scoring the Bruins 13-3. 

Game 1: Caden Ross led the way on the mound earning 5 strikeouts in 4 innings, with no errors. The Bruins offense rallied behind Bryan Deegan's 2 RBIs and added a run himself on an RBI from Jase Brooks.

Game 2: The Bruins were only able to get 3 hits in game 2 of the doubleheader. Paxton Tucker's double in the top of the 5th brought in Alexial Delgado for the only earned run of the game.
