Winston Salem, NC- In tonight's match up on the home court of Carolina University the men's Volleyball team (2-4) takes on St. Andrews University (5-3).
The blue and gold battled tonight, falling in three close sets. The sets (18-25, 22-25, and 25-27), ended in a hard, fought match.
The outstanding Bruins tonight were Austin Jeter with 14 kills and 8 digs. Jeter is a freshman and has made quite an impact for the Blue and Gold, becoming a consistent and reliable outlet in the Bruins's offense. Bryson Abernathy held a notable performance as well tallying 10 kills and 8 digs tonight. Abernathy now settling into the season has strung together a consistent performance in his last few games. Senior setter Tijhmir Glasco had 32 assists in tonight's match up. Glasco has consistently set for the Bruins starting every set since his freshman year.
Carolina University men's volleyball team will be back in action at home this Saturday as they take on Benedict College at 2 pm.
