Winston Salem, NC- In today's match Carolina University Men's volleyball (3-4) battled Benedict College (0-6) in an epic home game. 

In today's game, the Blue and Gold began with an unfamiliar rotation. Head coach Alewine utilized Austin Jeter on the outside and Brandon Hollifield on the right side. Which worked in his favor, Jeter had a field day tallying 22 kills and only 6 errors, hitting a whopping 410% for the Bruins. Hollifield had 9 kills of his own with 5 digs, Hollifield was originally recruited as a setter but has made an impact on the opposite. 

Junior outside Bryson Abernathy is another notable player from today's match, Abernathy had 13 kills with 7 digs. Senior setter Tijhmir Glasco ran tonight's offense tallying 42 assists for Glasco, and 3 kills. 

Carolina University Men's volleyball season is just starting to heat up, you can follow in person or watch online through live stats or broadcast. The Bruins will be on the road next week as they head to Virginia Beach to play Virginia Wesleyan University on Thursday, February 15 at 6 pm.
