Lawrenceville, GA – Carolina University Women's Soccer competed in the Continental Athletic Conference Tournament tonight, facing the University of Jamestown in their opening game. The Bruins were defeated 1-2.

The Knights of Jamestown broke the deadlock with a goal just minutes before halftime. However, the Bruins responded in the second half, tying the game in the 70th minute. Ashley Sanchez scored the equalizer, assisted by Alexa Anderson.

What looked like a potential draw heading into overtime quickly shifted when Jamestown found the back of the net once again with 10 minutes remaining. Despite pressing for an equalizer, the Bruins couldn't respond in time, and the game ended with a 2-1 loss.
