Women's Soccer Closes Out Regular Season With a Win

Charlotte, NC – The Carolina University Women's Soccer team closed out their regular season on a high note with a 2-1 victory over Johnson & Wales University last night.

Morgan Myers put the Bruins on the scoreboard first with a goal in the first half. In the second half, Destini Wilson extended the lead with a goal assisted by Alexa Anderson.The Wildcats managed to pull one back late in the match, but the Bruins held strong to secure the win.

The match also served as Senior Night, where Carolina University honored its senior players: #0 Kloe Totel, #4 Sidney Smith, #14 Lauryn Scales, and #23 Annabelle Noorwood.

With the regular season behind them, the Bruins are now focusing on the upcoming CAC NAIA Tournament. Carolina University will face the University of Jamestown on November 9th at 2:00 PM in Lawrenceville, GA.
