Columbia, SC — Carolina University Women's Basketball traveled to Columbia, South Carolina last night to face the Allen University Wasps. The Bruins suffered their first loss of the season in a hard-fought 70-84 game.
While the Bruins were consistent overall, they struggled in the second quarter, scoring just 9 points. However, they bounced back in the third, tallying 22 points and shooting an impressive 85.71%.
Felesia Ondongo led the Bruins' offense with 13 points, while Bianca Gonzales and Rylie Hogg each added 12 points.
Carolina University will return to action for a rematch against Allen University on November 18th at 6:00 PM at home.
