Greensboro, NC – The Carolina University Women's Soccer team faced off against the Lions of Greensboro College this Saturday, resulting in a 1-1 draw.
The Bruins' defense worked tirelessly in the first half, holding the Lions to just two shots while managing four of their own, leading to a scoreless first half. After a quiet start, the Lions broke the deadlock with a goal. However, the Bruins responded quickly, with Ashley Sanchez finding the back of the net just ten minutes later, scoring unassisted. Despite several efforts, the Bruins couldn't find the net again before time ran out, and the game ended in a draw.
Women's Soccer will be on the road this weekend, traveling to Florida to take on Florida College on Friday, October 11th, at 4:00 PM.
