Charlotte, NC – The Carolina University Women's Volleyball team faced Johnson C. Smith University last night in their second matchup of the season. This time, the Bruins triumphed over the Bulls, winning in four sets with scores of 25-10, 25-20, 19-25, and 25-18.
The Bruins excelled offensively, led by sophomore Sarah Elizabeth Samuels, who recorded 11 kills. Their strong offensive performance was complemented by aggressive serving, which has been a key factor throughout the season. Libero Rebecca Walker tallied 8 aces, while Hayley Stull contributed 7. The Bruins effectively kept the Bulls out of system, giving them the upper hand during long rallies.
Women's Volleyball will return to action this Friday night as they take on Bob Jones University at 4:00 PM at home for Most Valuable Professor Night (MVP).
