Box Score 2 Winston-Salem, NC – The Carolina University Women's Volleyball team participated in a tri-match this weekend, competing against the Bishops of North Carolina Wesleyan and the Spirits of Salem College.
In their first match, the Bruins secured a victory over the Bishops, marking a milestone for Coach Chelsea Jones as she celebrated her 100th win as head coach. Setter Kamra King also reached a significant achievement, recording her 2,000th assist during the match. King contributed 18 assists and led the offense with 12 kills.
In the second match of the day, the Bruins faced off against the Spirits of Salem College but fell in three sets. Karli Totel and Britney Comolli were the kill leaders for the Bruins, while Kamra King and Rebecca Walker led digs.
The Bruins will be back in action this Tuesday as they travel to Johnson C. Smith University to take on the Bulls at 6:00 PM.
