Marietta, GA - Carolina University Men's Volleyball played at Life University on Saturday, March 25th at 11:00 am. The Bruins had another competitive match on the road against an NAIA team. The teams went back and forth the whole first set, but the Eagles finished with a score of 25-22. The Bruins won the second set with a fight, scoring 27-25. The Eagles were able to score 25 points in the next two sets and the Bruins came up short, finishing 1-3.Â
Raheem Thomas came up big with a match high 17 kills, 3 aces, 2 blocks and 8 digs. Mason Chambers also did well with 14 kills and 8 digs. Bryson Abernathy paced the Bruins with 10 kills and 2 blocks. Tijhmir Glasco tied for match high with 42 assists.Â
CU Men's Volleyball will play host Benedict College on Tuesday, March 28th at 7:00 pm. Benedict is 8-7 on the season and lost to Edward Waters on Saturday. The Bruins look to make a comeback at home.
