Winston-Salem, NC -  Carolina University Men's Volleyball (6-12) hosted Benedict College (10-7) on Tuesday, March 28th at 7:00 pm. The Tigers took an early lead in the first set but the Bruins battled back to finish at 27-25. Benedict used their high flying attack to squeak out the second set by a score of 25-22. The Bruins were down early in the third set but they hit a 5 point run to take back the lead. Again, the teams went into extras but CU took the third set at 29-27 for a score of 2-1. The Tigers gained some energy as the Bruins struggled in the fourth set. Benedict used that momentum to claim the fourth and fifth set for a final score of 3-2. 

Mason Chambers had a great night, leading the Bruins with 20 kills, 12 digs, and an ace. Raheem Thomas followed with 17 kills and an ace. Tijhmir Glasco had a match high of 56 assists, had 2.0 blocks, an ace, and 10 digs. Jesse Ellis had 4.0 blocks and Landen Ensminger had 3.0 blocks for the Bruins. 

Carolina University Men's Volleyball will play against Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, VA on Saturday, April 8th at 3:00 pm.
