Mocksville, NC - Carolina University Baseball hosted St. Andrews University on Wednesday, March 8th at 2:00 for a mid-week single. The Bruins scored a 3 run homerun in the second inning to take a lead and another run in the fourth inning for a score of 4-0. The Knights struggled to compete and were not able to score a run until the sixth inning. CU continued to dominate the Knights with another 2 runs in the 8th inning and closed out with a score of 6-1. 

Noah McDaniel earned the win for the Bruins, going 5 innings with 6 strikeouts. Jamie Winecoff pitched 1 inning and had 3 strikeouts with no runs. Offensively, the Bruins were led by Randy De Maio, who was 1 for 4 and scored a 3 run homerun for the Bruins. Cade Fletcher was 1 of 2 with an RBI. 

Carolina University Baseball is now 9-9 on their season and will play at Pfeiffer University on March 10th and 11th. The game on Friday will be at 5:00 pm and on Saturday, they play at 2:00 and 5:00 pm. Support the Bruins through the LiveStream and LiveStats available.
