Augusta, GA - The CU Bruins went on the road to play against Paine College on Saturday, January 28th. Carolina started off the game with a 20-8 run but the Lions answered with a 20-7 run, working their way into the lead 28-27. The Bruins inched back into the lead and went to halftime with a score of 35-33. The second half was tied up several times and both teams traded baskets for the lead. With only a few minutes left in the game, the Lions were ahead by 10 points. Despite a strong effort from the Bruins, they finished with a score of 81-87. 

Micah Cooper had a great night, scoring 25 points, grabbing 11 rebounds, and 8 assists. Ethan Bell and Amarie Elijah-Kirby both scored 12 points each and Elijah-Kirby grabbed 10 rebounds.
