Milligan, TN - Carolina University Softball played on the road at Milligan University on Sunday, February 19th at 2:00 and 4:00 pm. The Buffaloes were an overpowering presence on their home field. The Bruins scored a homerun to start the game, but struggled to generate any more offense. CU dropped the first game by a final score of 1-9. In the second game, Milligan led by 2 i5n the third inning and the Bruins answered with a homerun. The Buffaloes continued to forge ahead and CU wasn't able to score in the remaining four innings and finished 1-5. 

Game 1: Kalea Bolch was 1 of 3 and had a solo homerun. Emma King was 1 of 3 and had a double. Kourtney Cox was 2 of 3 and Lyric Ryan was 1 of 2. Ryan also pitched 4 innings and recorded 2 strikeouts. 

Game 2: Kalea Bolch was 1 of 3 again and had another solo homerun for the Bruins. Danielle Brooks pitched 4 innings for the Bruins and Emma King pitched 2 innings and had a strikeout. 

Carolina University will host Johnson C Smith University on February 22nd for games at 1:00 and 3:00 pm. LiveStream and LiveStats will be available.
