Clemmons, NC - Carolina University hosted Johnson C Smith University on Wednesday, February 22nd in a double-header at 1:00 and 3:00 pm. The Golden Bulls started the first inning with a run but did not score again until the fourth inning with 3 more runs. The Bruins answered with 3 runs in the bottom of the fourth inning and finished the game just shy, 3-4. 

CU started off the second game with a lead of 1-0 in the first inning and the Golden Bulls answered with a run in the second inning to make it 1-1. JCSU scored 2 more runs in the fourth inning but the Bruins took back the lead with 5 runs in the fifth inning. CU closed out the game with a final score of 8-6. 

Game 1: Kalea Bolch was 2 of 3 with a double. Danielle Brooks was 1 of 3 with an RBI and Emma King had an RBI as well. 

Game 2: Kourtney Cox was 1 of 3 with a double. Lyric Ryan was 2 of 5 with an RBI. ZyMaijah Thomas was 3 of 4 with 3 RBIs. Grace Crocker was 2 of 3 with 2 RBIs. Danielle Brooks was 2 of 4 with an RBI. Leigha James and Jessyca Cardona were each 2 of 3. Grace Crocker pitched 1.2 innings and had 2 strikeouts with no runs. Emma King pitched 5.1 innings with 2 strikeouts and only 2 runs.
