Clemmons, NC - Carolina University Softball hosted Livingstone College on Wednesday, February 15th for their second Double-Header of the season. The Bruins made the game look easy as they took the lead 3-0 by the third inning. CU continued to score 3 more runs in the fourth inning and 3 more in the fifth to finish the game 9-1.

In the second game of the day, the teams tied in the first inning 2-2. The scoreboard didn't change until the fourth inning when CU scored one run and another 5 runs in the bottom of the sixth to put the game away. The Bruins finished the game with a score of 8-3. 

Game 1: Kalea Bolch had a great game at the plate and was 3 of 4 with a double. Kourtney Cox was also 3 of 4 with 3 RBIs and 2 doubles. Emma King was 2 of 4 with 2 RBIs and a double. Danielle Brooks was 1 of 4 with a double. Brooks pitched all 5 innings and had 9 strikeouts. 

Game 2: ZyMaijah Thomas was 3 of 4. Jessyca Cardona was 2 of 4 with an RBI. Kalea Bolch was 2 of 4 with 3 RBIs and a double and a triple. Kourtney Cox was 2 of 3 with an RBI. Lyric Ryan was 2 of 3 with a double. Grace Crocker was 2 of 4 with 2 RBIs and a double. Crocker also pitched all 7 innings and had 7 strikeouts and only gave up 2 runs. 

Carolina University will play at Milligan University in Tennessee on Sunday, February 19th in a double-header. LiveStats will be available for both games.
