Box Score Kissimmee, FL - The Carolina University Men's Soccer team (15-2-3) took on Trinity Christian College (9-7-5) in their first game of the NCCAA National Championship.
Luke Spillane-Davis added to his historic season with a goal at the 3:37 mark (assisted by Nathan Rue on a corner kick), and from then on it was a defensive battle with the Trolls. Toran Penner scored Trinity Christian's lone goal in the twenty-seventh minute.
William Cothill played all ninety minutes in goal and recorded four saves, including the play of the game in the second half to preserve the draw.Â
