The fifth ranked Bruins took on the defending National Champion Rams in their final home game of 2023, and the matchup was as exciting as expected. William Cothill added an exclamation point to his dominant 2023 season, recording ten saves in his seventh clean sheet of the season.
"CIU has a very good soccer program and are the defending NCCAA DI National Champions so we knew going into the game that we were going to have to be at our best," said Golding. "I thought the guys played really well in and out of possession and competed hard for 90min. We just now have to carry that momentum into nationals."
