MONTREAT, NC -  Carolina University Women's Volleyball was on the road for their match against Montreat College on Tuesday, August 30th. The Bruins knew it would be a difficult match as the Cavaliers are a strong team in the NAIA Appalachian Conference. Montreat certainly used their home court advantage and easily took the first two sets. Carolina U fought for the third set and came close, but fell just short. The Cavaliers won the match with a final score of 3-0. 

Kamra King statistically led the Bruins with assists and blocks, 20 and 3.0 respectively. Giulia La Longa recorded a team high 10 kills. Chiara Mottola had a great overall game with 6 kills, 2.0 blocks, and 7 digs. 

The Bruins are 3-2 in the season and are looking to bounce back in their match against Webber International University on Saturday, September 3rd at 1:00 pm.
