MT. VERNON, GA - The Bruins began the Women's Volleyball tri-match on Saturday, September 3rd playing Webber International University. They faced a challenging match against a strong NAIA competitor. Carolina University showed a great effort, but came up short against the Warriors experience. Webber International took the match by a score of 3-0. 

Giulia La Longa was able to get an impressive 10 kills against Webber's strong defense. Kamra King led the Bruins with 16 assists and 19 digs. 

Carolina University will look to split the matches for the day playing against the host school, Brewton-Parker College, at 3:00 pm. CU recently hosted Brewton-Parker and beat them 3-0 in the matchup. The Bruins will briefly rest at 3-3 for the season in hopes to conclude the tri-match with a win against the Barons.
