Rocky Mount, NC - CU Women's Volleyball played against North Carolina Wesleyan College on Thursday, September 22nd at 6:00 pm. Facing a challenging match, Carolina University was not intimidated and took the lead 25-19 in the first set. The second set proved to be more of a challenge as NC Wesleyan fought back. CU held their ground and continued in the second set with a score of 26-24. The Bruins rolled in the third set for a final score of 3-0.
Giulia La Longa had match-high 15 kills, 6 aces, and recorded 12 digs and 1.0 blocks. Nicole Laezza recorded a match-high 17 assists. Chiara Mottola had 7 kills, 2 aces, and 8 digs. Rebecca Walker recorded a match-high 13 digs.Â
