Winston-Salem, NC - This Saturday, the Bruins hosted their Senior Night, and last regular season match, against Regent University. CU beat Regent 6-0 earlier in the season. Carolina University dominated the field offensively, scoring three times in the first half. The Bruins didn't back down and proceeded to score four more times to finish with a final score of 7-0.Â
The team really came together in this match. Sidney Smith (5) scored the first goal at 14:22 assisted by Senior Aaliyah Rubio. Natasha Mariam (9) scored at 28:28 and again at 31:18, assisted by Mariana Rodrigues Compri. Savannah Placie scored her first goal of the season at 47:46, assisted by Sheila Ramirez-Aguilar. Angie Hernandez Victorino scored goals at 77:10 with an assist from Natasha Mariam and Hayden Pacheco, and at 80:47 assisted by Hayden Pacheco.Â
