CU Ties with Columbia

Columbia, SC - Carolina University Women's Soccer was on the road at Columbia College on Monday, October 3rd. Columbia took possession of the ball out the gate and made several attempts to score, but the Bruins took it down the field and scored the first goal at 12:23. There was a lot of back and forth for the rest of the first half, but this did not reflect on the scoreboard. After a long fight in the second half by both teams, the Koalas scored at 77:16 for the last goal of the game, tying it up at 1-1. 

Sarah Walters played all 90 minutes as goalie and recorded 7 saves. Aaliyah Rubio scored the lone goal for CU with an assist from Angie Hernandez Victorino. 

The Bruins will be on the road again this Wednesday, September 5th at Warren Wilson. The Owls are 3-3-1 on the season coming off of a recent win. The match will begin at 4:30 and LiveStream will be available.
