Asheville, NC - Carolina University Women's Soccer played against Warren Wilson University on Wednesday, October 5th. The Bruins were dominant offensively and scored the first goal at 13:28. The Owls attempted 3 shots but were not able to convert. CU scored again at 27:02 to take the score to 2-0. The Bruins leaned on their defense in the second half and secured the 2-0 shutout. 

Hayden Pacheco scored the first goal of the match and her second of the season. Natasha Mariam scored the final goal and her seventh of the season. Sarah Walters played goalie for the entire match and recorded 3 saves. 

The Bruins will take the week off and play against Great Lakes Christian College on October 15th at 3:00 pm in VIrginia Beach, VA. The Crusaders are 7-2 on the season and have won their last two matches before.
