Women's Volleyball Puts Exclamation Point on 8 Game Win Streak

Winston-Salem, NC - Carolina University Women's Volleyball hosted Regent University and Bob Jones University on Saturday, October 29th. Earlier this month, CU defeated Regent in a sweep but lost to Bob Jones. The Bruins dominated the first match of the day against the Regent University Royals and almost everyone saw playing time. BJU took the first set 25-17 but CU was determined to make a comeback. When it looked as if Bob Jones would win the second set,  Carolina University fought back and took the second match 28-26. CU captured the momentum and won the third set 25-21. Carolina U finished the final set with even more ease 25-17, for a final score of 3-1.

The CU Bruins pulled together in this exciting match. Giulia La Longa and Chiara Mottola both recorded team-lead 16 kills, followed by Sarah Pickett with 10 kills.
